No disrespect meant when I say that this painting of a saint looks a little gothic and sinister, as I think they all do.
Is it possible that my belief that evil lurks around, if not within the holy walls is the reason these images appear this way to me.
My imagination can sometimes be a bit dark, but it makes sense that if I was an evil entity, it is where I'd be waiting to corrupt the very few souls who seek a change in their lives.
