the weekend project-6
She opened her eyes. She was back in the present world. This time the restlessness and nausea were lesser and she felt better instantly. But this was a very strange weekend indeed. Samarth also was gaining consciousness and trying to get up. She looked around, everything was gone, the beautiful village, the people, the green fields- there was only the ruins of the castle and a vast yellow fields of shrubs and bushes.

But the boon of modern century, their vehicle was right there. So they returned home immediately. Samarth went to his home to freshen up. Nia put her phone on charging and it started beeping constantly with reminders and messages. What day was it ? They had started on Friday and now it was Sunday afternoon. She could go to the bank only tomorrow. So she had nothing better to do rather than return some calls and crash into her bed.

She visited the bank early Monday morning. Samarth was with her. The key started shining and became warm as if heating up. Samarth put it into a metal box he had brought along. The diary had all the Mantras written and all the steps of the ceremony needed.

Then they decided to visit her mom direct from the bank. Her mom confirmed that there was a connection to the lady and she had told them about the folklore. Since it was a precious thing, they agreed to her request to keep it a secret after her death. She also confirmed that Nia was kept in dark as they didn't want to spook her.

Having had her mother's blessings, as it had all been to keep the motherland sacred, they drove back to the castle, where it all had started. The time portal was glowing orange. Samarth had eyes filled with dread, the lamp must have increased its glow. They left the Jeep and ran to the portal, they felt some heat and both of them jumped, the rock gave way and they spinned back to 1910.

But this time as they opened their eyes, they were in the fields, and the temple was shining with glow of the lamp which had increased in size. Everyone was running around in fear, " we are all doomed..." they wailed....
