I was scrolling through news section when I came across this news randomly.A Dutch woman in her late twenties opted for euthenasia as she considers her mental illness unresolvable. It was really painful to read this ,a young girl,who has a love in her life and few pets whom she takes care of ,finds life impossible to bear further. Moreover she is granted it without giving further chances to cure her condition. Many youngsters with mental illness are opting for euthenasia in Netherlands and it's pathetic.I can understand her pain if she is choosing death over life but to go through that process is immensely tormenting, giving her sedatives and then an injectable to stop her heart beat.
Mental health is a growing concern nowadays and I know sometimes people don't find a way out despite having family and love....but to choose this way is a matter of grave concern.....what on earth are we seeing.... having enough to feed body but nothing to cure a sick and unhealthy mind.
Take care of someone who is suffering from mental health because most people don't even categorise it as a disease!!!
