Nicole pov

Being the last in our family is not an easy thing like other people say.am Nicole, twenty one years old.i live In new york.my family background is middle class neither rich nor poor.i have older siblings,four brothers and one sister her name is Anna. my sister is my closest friend we do things together until one day she betrayed me.Being raised by a single mom was not easy for us.i know you are wondering why and what happened,well nine years ago,my dad was involved in a car accident unfortunately,he didn't survive.my dad's death was one of the most tragic and painful thing that occurred to me since I was in sixth grade.My mom started to feel unwell and sometimes we had to cater for ourselves.my brothers didn't have any job as well as my mom.it was always a struggle for everyone until me and anna joined highschool,things were getting even more worse.sometimes we would not go to school for months because we didn't have enough money,we went to look for jobs like cleaning and farming so that we could have something to eat, sometimes we couldn't get any job or we would not get paid. But thanks to God,we completed highschool.things were more easy then because my dad's family had given us his share well not all but that was enough.i went to another city for a year to look for a job and I found one.After the year ended I went back home and stayed there for nine months until my life changed.
Jason POV:

Erick was just rejected by a girl and am so happy to see him so angry. no one has ever rejected his offer.i try to cool him down
"maybe they don't know who you really are and besides what if they think you are a bad guy" I say to him but he keeps on mumbling because he is so pissed.
He then tells me to investigate the girls and my eyes widen I know this is not good but I obey his orders.the last person that pissed him of got what he never expected sometimes Erick is heartless.only I know his secrets.he is so mysterious to people.people who know him don't dare to disobey him.we arrive to the restaurant and his mood already have changed.his eyes were as cold as those of a lioness to those who looked at his.
"i don't even know why you are angry it has been an hour"I say to him laughing while we take our seats.
"I don't think it funny Jason am so pissed of how dare she reject my offer am not like you being rejected and act as if it's nothing to you"he says to me and I laugh even harder which pisses him even more but I know him well,he can never get mad at me.
We order our food and dig in while we are talking about business he seems to cool of.
