Mining & Mercury
Once upon a time, there was a girl. She was a gold prospector. She was hired to live at a goldmine to protect it from vandalism.

Until one day the sheriffs came and said "What are you doing here? Get out! It's not safe for you here. What did you do with the red tag?"

The girl was confused. "What red tag? Red tag for what?"

"High mercury levels. There was a mercury spill," the sheriff said. "You have to leave or we will arrest you for trespassing."

The county calls her a homeless criminal and refused local shelter. She never had trial. The sheriffs still refuse to report what happened. They say it's a civil matter. The girl is not eligible for legal assistance. Everyone tells her to call 211. But 211 means being transported out of town into homeless case management.

The girl refuses to leave. Because she is also a history professor, and she will not allow her government to traffic her into state assistance. And she refuses to allow the federal government to continue funding non-energency services that interfere with emergency incident management and response.

She even made a prototype for alerting lead agencies of follow-up calls to properties reported to the NRC for hazardous releases over reportable quantity.

The girl needs everyone to help her get heard and to STOP throwing assistance in the way of justice!

The End
