Broken bits of me 91
My maternal grandmother is in her 90's. That sweet lady with wrinkled cheeks, bright brown eyes carries herself with a graceful toothless grin all time.
When does she stress, when does she think about all these years that she has lived and the approaching end which could be any day?
She must have such thoughts, well everyone has it...But never have I seen her distressed or grumpy or in a foul mood.
I find her talking to the dogs and the cats, I find her pampering them like her own child. She enjoys playing with the newborn in the family, and that brings the utmost joy in her life.
I would say, she has single-handedly mothered three generations- her children and grandchildren and now the great grand generation as well.
