The diamond necklace on the mannequin looked familiar. She placed her palm on the window that separated them and leaned in, looking at the purple stones embedded with shinning diamonds. Breathing in the polluted air of the dusty city she kept on wondering about the dream she woke up to. Her mother used to say that she was always a curious child from the beginning, asking questions with her big eyes and small face.
