Untold Feelings

The letter carried brief instructions: 'Meet me at the corner of the street', it read. But who was it from?many questions roaming in John's mind.He boldly went to meet the sender.
“listen, you are the one who sent me a letter, right?”,asked John.“Hey,show me your face!", John again said. When Amy looked at John he was completely surprised. Amy was John's childhood friend . Their bounding was great.It was not just great it was awesome. But a sad incident destroyed their friendship .
It's about a year ago,when Amy and John was studying in the same university. They shared their every problem with each other. Sometimes other students used to think that they were lovers but they weren't. John had some untold feelings for Amy which Amy didn't know. But he never dared to confess his feelings to Amy thinking how she will react. Finally in a day, at a place where everything was beautifully perfect and looking at Amy John felt like it is the day when he must tell Amy about his feelings. John said to Amy,“in the past few days I wanted to tell you something.”“Even I want to tell you something.”, Amy said in a low voice. “Then you tell first” said John restraining his excitement. “No, you first ”,said Amy. getting on his knees with a flower in hand Which he took from the rose plant nearby John said that,“I never had a friend like you. you always make me feel special which developed some feelings in me which I couldn't recognise.but now I have acknowledged that those feelings was the feelings of being in love . Iam in love with you. Will you grow old with me? Will you be my valentine?”
Amy was both surprised and shocked that she couldn't say that she had blood cancer and she didn't had much time. Amy couldn't understand that how she should act in that moment. Amy angrily replied,“Who do you think you are? How dare you to propose me. First see your class. I made you a friend and you started loving me? Are you joking? I will marry a very rich man not a pauper like you. You better stop dreaming about having me. John's heart broke into pieces. Hearing this humiliation John said,“Seriously Amy you are saying this? You are not the one who I know. You broke my heart. I will never forgive you. Don't you dare to come in front of my eyes ever. Be happy in your rich life. John went away from that place. From that day untill this day they haven't talk with each other. They didn't even try to contact with each other.
John said,“Why are you here? Are you here to see me how Iam looking after you breaking my heart ? ”“No, nothing like that. I came to New York to roam and thought of visiting you before I go back”. “How do you know I live here?”“You are quite famous. Your poetry is found everywhere. A popular poet information can be found easily.”“Yeap! Iam a rich man now. Now no one can call me pauper.So tell about yourself. Why did you cut your hair ?”“It's a new fashion you know. so I thought to apply it. Can I ask for something?”,said Amy in a low voice. John replied,“ It is very funny. Like when I give my everything to you it was nothing for you and now you want something! Are you joking?”“Nope! Iam very serious! maybe it will be my last want from you.”John become afraid and asked,“What do you mean?”
“Nothing! Will you give 3 days of your life? just 3 days only with me like before. We will have a lot of fun like best buddies. John never knew that these 3 days were Amy's last 3 days to live life ,to live love. So she decided to spent these 3 days with her best buddy, a person whom she loved but never able to confess, whose love was humiliated.
John's heart want to agree but brain not want to. Still John agreed to spend 3 days with Amy. In these 3 days they cherish many old memories. They made very good memories. At last the day come when their story is coming to an end which can't be decided by them. In the last day walking in the central park with John, Amy knowing her last breath but not sad because she was enjoying the time with the one she loved. With watery eyes and sweet smile on face Amy collapsed in John's arms. That moment and that time frost John from in and out. John asked Amy with affliction, “What happened to you? Why aren't you saying anything? Are you trying to break me from inside again?”Amy smiling,not able to speak just looks in his eyes and says in weak voice,“I could never love anyone else other than you. You are the one for whom I feel special. I love you.”
Later John knows the truth and he was so sorry for not being with Amy. Amy still lives in his heart and memories. Amy was John's first love and maybe last too.
Some untold feelings makes a person regret a lot for his whole lifetime.
