MENSTRUATION.. IS THIS A PROBLEM??
Sakshi a college going girl was on her periods. She was waiting in her stop for the bus. Few of her classmates(boys) came to know that she was on her periods and started to tease her. She felt very uncomfortable and went away. She reached her home with a sad face.When her grandmother asked for the reason she said what she faced in th bus stop. Her grandmother scolded her for going to college instead of supporting her. Even her father who heard everything was silent and didn't uttered a word. Her whole family went on silent mood but know one supported her. She said I am your grand daughter and u know about this periods so why do u scold me.You should support me but u are scolding mee. Her grandmother who heard everything slapped her for talking back. Her brother who saw everything shouted at everyone.He was the only one who supported her in that situation and explained that menstruation is not a sin and it's a part of the women's life cycle. Everyone apologized , understood her situation and comforted her. The very next day her brother went along with her to bus stop and scolded the boys who teased his sister . He explained what is menstruation and periods. Those boys who teased her apologized her and gave her a promise that they would always support her.
Today society is very hard regarding in terms of women especially who are facing menstruation problem. That's a very common thing that a women will face in her life and every one knows about it Few people will bring awareness about this but everything goes back into normal after few days.
Women who are mentally so strong than men. They can manage household works, there office duties, family situations and everything even though they will stand like a strong pillar of the society but what is stoping them is lack of support from the society and most importantly from there own family. These women who can face everything are being cornerd in aspects of there menstruation period. In these situations family is the only support a women seeks for.If the family supports her in these kind of situations and then she would even get the ultimate support of the society. As a family it's there responsibility to take care of the women from there family.
