Cattoo was a small town in the bottoms one of the lowest in Remington.
Kids from the bottoms were expected not to mount to nothing said by the old people there.
Shy they called her, her first name was really
Skyla. She didn't say much so they thought she was shy and it stuck. When Shy was 12 being in the wrong place at the wrong time got her sent away to what they call Reformatory School.
Lord if you get me out of this I promise I'll
stay home and never be in the wrong place ever again. Growing up she stayed mostly to her self not going to school games or out with friends. At a young age Shy fell in love with a nice looking man a bit older than her.
They talked about marriage but she found that he was on drugs so she left him.
Some time later breaking it off with him he came back and demanded that they get back together. No you're on drugs and you spend more of my money than I do she told him.
Later on she got involved with another man he would say things to hurt her feeling. He would ask her out just to make her feel bad.
He'd get involved with a woman and take the woman where he knew Shy would be just so she would see them together.
Shy was starting to see that she had a bad pick of men. You've fat you need to lose weight, you're ugly he said. All Shy wanted was to stay away from him but he would find her just to make her feel bad.
Shy left Remington just to get away from him but he'd follow her everywhere.
Years later Shy met Winston, Winston was nice so they became friends. They talked everyday for months and started to be more. There's something about you that I just can't put my finger on he said. We have a special bond but you're scared to let me get close.
I don't know what you mean she said but she knew exactly what he meant.
Look my past relationship wasnt very good. Even after a breakup things got worst even till today. See the situation is the same as the past. I wish that I could just let go and love you but I was in love with them and I don't understand why I was treated so bad.
They said they loved me but for years they tortured me over and over.
Now you are the only person that I felt this way about since but the situation is still the same. Trust me Winston said I'm not trying to hurt you trust me.
I can't explain to you everything that was said and done but I loved and trusted them. I don't understand what they think
is love maybe I'm wrong about what love is
Shy said. Maybe I'm wrong, I feel like no I think that you are trying to get me to trust you and do what they did. The thing is they enjoyed torturing me everyday.
So it's been years since I let anybody get even this close. I look for you to get me to trust you and do what they did.
