The old, treasure chest lay exposed when the storm retreated.Kali sees the old treasure chest and wondered what was inside and went towards it curiously. Kali opened the chest and saw gold coins in there.Kali noticed a second compartment under the coins.Lifting the coins up Kali saw a journal and old clothes there.Among the clothes was a red coat with silver buttons on the front.Kali looked around the chest to see where it came from.Kali looked for any clue as to the exact age of the chest with no results.Kali put the coat back in the chest and put the coins back.Picking up the chest she carried it to her car.Driving to her apartment she carried the chest there and set it infront of her bed in her room.She began to empty the chest of it's contents and coins which she put in a sandwich container.Leaving the room Kali put the coins in her kitchen cupboard for safe keeping.Kali began to make dinner when she heard a scraping noise from behind her.Turning Kali saw the chest in the kitchen directly behind her "what the hell". "I put the chest in my room"Kali looks at the chest which now was in the kitchen door.Picking up the chest Kali put it back in her room.Kali finished cooking her dinner when she heard something moving in her room going to see what it was,Kali entered the room to see the chest now sitting on her bed.Kali "holy fuck what's going on here the chest moved again.Kali put the chest in her closet and left to do errands.Going to the hardware store Kali buys a small hand rake and two pails to dig up clams with.Leaving the hardware store Kali heads to the beach to dig for clams for her dinner tomorrow night.Arriving at the beach Kali digs for clams to make breaded clam bites with.Kali began digging and found mountains of clams in seconds of digging.Rinsing the clams off Kali put them in the first pail.Once the first pail was full Kali filled the second pail with more clams.When the pails where full she heads to her car and heads home.Heading to her apartment with the pails of clams Kali entered.Setting the pails on the kitchen counter Kali dumped the clams into the sink to clean before cooking them for dinner.She started to clean the clams when she heard a loud scratching noise from her room.She went to investigate the noise,it was coming from the chest she found earlier.Kali opened the chest and searched for the source of the sound.Digging through the chest hoping there wasn't a rodent in there.Finding no trace of a rodent Kali was confused.The scratching got even louder as Kali finds a hidden compartment and saw the remains of a once had been a small dog."Why is there a dog in there." "Was the dog a crew member?"Kali looked at the skeleton.
