Yvette flipped the page. It was a quiet evening and James was at Andrew's and everyone else was busy with one thing or the other. The neighbors were having a party to celebrate their daughter Hannah turning 2. Yvette tossed the secret garden book onto the table and unlocked her phone. She saw a message from James which was odd.

Yvette:James what the hec-
Yvette suddenly remembered a code they made when they were younger. She wasn't able to remember it so she wrote it down in her diary.
Yvette:oh crap, where did I leave it???
Suddenly there was a rattling at the back door.
Person:Open up Yvette.
Yvette: No!
Yvette ran to her room and locked the door.The front door was being broken down bit by bit,and Yvette opened up the window.
She tied one end of a long rope fashioned out of the shirts to one leg of a side table.She slowly and carefully began lowering herself into the front lawn.Then she heard her bedroom door breaking down.
Yvette:Crap! No time to be slow!!
She began climbing down faster, dragging the side table.Then she heard the door opened and she pulled on the rope.The side table came flying out of the window,hitting Yvette and crashed to the ground.Yvette let go of the rope,feeling intense pain and fell onto the ground.She heard people shouting, screaming,then she lost consciousness.

Yvette woke up in a hospital room.Her head was bandaged and her arm was in a cast.
James:Yvette!!!!
The siblings hugged.
James:Andrew was the one who hurt you.He is Jades cousin.She needed money, so he paid her to murder people he disliked.
Yvette:OH my God..
James:He locked me in a cellar and gave me sleeping pills.
Yvette:Are you okay?
James:Yeah..
Yvette:Let's not repeat this...
