An Open Letter to Marco
Dear Marco,
I've seen a lot of boys, but very few of them stood up to be a perfect balance of cuteness and hotness. And then there was you. I couldn't stop drooling with my mouth wide open since the time you had entered into Elle's life and virtually, mine as well. I blushed every moment on my seat when you teased Elle.
Besides the looks, there are tons of things about you that inspired me. I always wondered, what happened to the people whose hearts were broken silently without an injury or love remained unattained. I can't explain how much I wanted you to find your love when it was just in front of you. Then I realised, you might not have achieved your love but you definitely took us through a journey with each moment worth remembering.
As said by Elle, " Life throws curves at you, you think it's moving one way and suddenly it's heading towards the opposite direction." Similarly I wanted her to turn towards you but she headed towards Noah. The sudden kiss you shared, excited the hell out of me and honestly, I just forgot about Noah and wanted just the two of you to rule forever. Why did Elle choose Noah over you? Was it because of her long term relationship with him or was it because of the commitment he made to Noah and the fear of betraying him? Did her long term relationship overpower the unsung bond both of you had created and the moments you had lived together? Well, whatever it maybe, it was not just you whose heart was broken but mine too.
"She is", the optimism in these two words was a ray of hope and sparked up my room with the light of a new beginning. But I was wrong. The next moment when I saw you all alone, while Elle in the arms of Noah, my room was filled with darkness.
You could be the perfect choice for her, in fact, for any girl. You had the charm which would keep and make her happy in any situation. I would be mad if someone did that to me, but your silence made me realise that you cannot punish somebody for not accepting your love. Instead if you really love that person you would be happy to see her happy even with someone else. Afterall, love is maturity, dealt with innocence.
I realised every moment of pain you had hidden in your heart just to see Elle being happy with Noah and that made me fall for you, a little more.
"You can't really hold onto someone, cause' the tighter you hold on to them, the more they wanna slip away. All you can do is love them and make sure they
know that you are never gonna slip away."
This moment freezes in my mind and I know that you would do anything to keep her beside you but maybe there is someone else who feels the same for you. Who knows! You weren't lucky in the case of Elle, someone somewhere might get lucky in the case of you.
