Sometimes people really piss me off
Do you know the kind that keeps on pushing
The kind that set the storm in motion
Then wonder why the clouds explode

I'm normally a calm and collected person
Yet even a saint can have their devilish ways
When pushed towards the pits of hell
Don't we all have a boiling point

Sometimes I want to set fire to the rain
I want to let out that devil here inside
Allow them to feel an ounce of the pain
That they often throw upon the world

I guess the only thing that pulls me back
Is the knowledge that I'll stoop to their level
That I'll be fighting fire with fire
Instead of throwing water upon the flames

Sometimes you've got be the bigger person
Sometimes you've got to walk away
Knowing that you're not a reflection
Of the shit storm others throw in your direction

People may see this as being weak
Yet often it takes more strength to walk away
Than it does to stand and fight
In a war that no-one ever truly wins..~
