Letter to Best friend in relationship
Dear best friend,
Little things and lively moments matter more than exchanging costly gifts, posing for photos, going to posh restaurants and displaying all of them as synonym of beautiful relation on social media.
It's not okay to forget what is really important to you, every other time. We all are unique. Everyone hasn't got big brains and IQ. Talent deserves respect, no matter what field it is.
If someone's intelligence is making you feel inferior, you have to cross check what went wrong between you both. It's not okay to be/feel belittled. Remember when you smiled heartfully the last time?
I saw you both lost in each other's eyes in initial days. I saw you always smiling and blushing. I saw you evolving as a couple.
Enthusiasm may fade away but what about love? Love can make any moment special if it exists.
Has your 'love' fallen out of love now? I agree it's all about understanding and accepting flaws.
But you aren't a trash can to throw up all worst mood swings and frustration, like you don't get hurt every other time.
Sharing pain is different from taking for granted.
Even we have had hardships and cold wars. They are obviously inevitable in love. But it's not okay to not to pay you attention, it's not okay to ignore your efforts to make them smile, it's not okay to make new bad habits and circles, it's not okay to fail in understanding your silence and eyes, it's not okay to disregard your view point. Remember how we made plans about facing your parents and sangeeth in your wedding?
Remember how you openly liked, being teased by your love's name? Remember how your days were incomplete without last text from your love? Remember how you seeked my help to pen down something special for your love?
Where is that love now? Those days when you tagged each other in stories are gone may be. But where is that same old love gone? Love never gets old.
It was painful when I was ignored due to initial euphoria and excitement love gives. It took months to mend it again. I was slowly pleased with your repentance in eyes and efforts. Both friendship and love are magical. Both cost loyalty and understanding.
And here you are going away from the world again. But this time with pain and confusion.
I will be the happiest if you can clear all mess in your mind again. Reunion or departure is upto you, both.
But I can't see you like a loser. I want my best friend back by any means.I can write pages for you, about what you are to me.
I don't think, we are at fault as friends by making you feel special.
