Zedd was a very poor orphan who lived alone in a very small cottage in a town called Smallville. One day,the town folks were attacked by a dragon. The dragon destroyed their houses and ate their livestock. It was a total catastrophe. The dragon did not take anyone but the princess. The king of the town told the town folks that the man who will save the princess from the dragon will marry her. None of the men did not want to loose their life to a dragon but Zedd gathered up courage and set off for the long journey to save the princess. On his way he saw a witch. She asked him where he was going to.Zedd narrated everything to the witch. The witch told him that there was a mystical creature called a pegasus living in the woods. She told him that he can use it to reach the cave of the dragon and also she gave him an armour and a sword. He listened to what the witch told him and he went into the woods. Zedd searched for the pegasus for days until he found it eating.The pegasus was wild so he had to tame it. It took him several hours to tame the pegasus. Atlast the pegasus was tamed. He flew it until he reached the cave of the dragon. The dragon was fast asleep. He didn't want to wake it up so he moved at a snail's pace. He found the princess locked up in a cage. He found a key on the ground and unlocked the princess from the cage. After disenthralling her,the dragon woke up. He had no choice but to battle with the dragon. He drew out the sword the witch gave to him and slaughtered the dragons head. Zedd rode the pegasus back home with the princess. When they reached,they got married. The town folks had a huge feast and were happy that the dragon had been killed. Zedd and the princess lived happily ever after.
