The faith we have in our selves is most often misplaced.
Ravi the most intelligent of them all was brilliant in sports too and much popular as he was so good looking too.
Knowing well that it can be addictive, he had alcohol and tobacco just for fun and experiment and to prove to himself that he was made of sterner stuff.
Soon fun once or twice became once or twice
for fun and then there was no fun without them
and then there was no fun in them
yet it was needed out of habit.

Totally ruined and a ghost image of what he was
he had been living for these things only.
Ultimately he decided enough was enough
and collected the remaining bottles

and packs of cigarettes
he came to this bridge.

They found a box with a few
packs of cigarettes,
a few bottles of alcohol
and a letter on the bridge
and Ravi's body in the river.
