Running And Hiding

Vanilla's Pov
I held onto my older sister as we watched flashlights pass by dragging a limb body...


  Looked the be from this angle a monsters limb body. They was taking him get trained an adopted. 


I cringed my nose at the thought of being adopted by a human. "YUCK!" I squeezed my older sister's hand and she reassured me by pulling me into a hug. I proped my head into my sisters shoulder pours. Snuggling my hair a bit fitting in.


I been hiding from the law enforcement ever since I was in my teens forth-teen year and my sister at the time  seventeen.


I knew how to speak, write, and read but not enough modernly experienced,  I haven't  continued my schooling.




I purr buried my face in the crook of my sister's neck.  Come on,  we need to go now," my sister insisted.




But my sister has celebrated a few of my birthdays.... ummm
I think two of my birthdays of mine celebrated and the same with my sister our birthdays jinxed the be on the same day as the other.




So that made her around forth-teen  years old and I was eleven. It was turning dark as I catch ahold of my breathe..

I slowly drifted to sleep and thought of a better tomorrow.

#Flash back#
"Mommy look at what I drew!" I ran up to my mom with a paper in my hand.
"What is it Vanilla?" She asked me and I show her the paper

"Happy Mothers Day Mommy," I smiled at my mom.

"Aww,  mom smiled and hugged me. Thank you so much my sweet darling  Va.."

She was interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Stay here Vanilla."

I obeyed and saw as mom peered through the little peep hole and jump back.

"Mommy what's wrong?" I walked near my mom.


"Go with you're sister and tell her to hide and call dad."


"Ok mommy."



I ran to dad's study and quickly knocked twice on the door.

"Come in, he called. The door screeched open how fast I've pushed open the door. Spook him to high alret. I trip over  the threshold fly a few feet near the front of his desk. Swiveled his way out his chair rush over to my aid.

Are you okay sweetie? You this excited to see me? I am not going anywhere don't worry."

I step up to the point where I kneeled on my knees for a moment. Worked myself on self back the way up to my feet.


Told him mom was urgently calling him, then I ran upstairs to my sister room and told her what mom said.

She quickly stood up and took me to her closet then pulled a handle that was very well hidden on the floor.


"Get in," my sister said, I jumped in and my sister jumped in right after  closing the door behind us.

"Chocola why was Mommy so scared when she looked through the little peep hole?"

"I don't know Vanilla...." Shh-shh, now."  Cuddled my head into her neck, purr my anxiety away.   My sister crawled next to me and I heard a piercing scream.

"MOMMY!" I recognized the voice as my mom.

Started to cry loudly grasp of a hand covered over my mouth muffled my crying.


I wanted scramble on out to help her at once held back from my sister stopping me.

Grabbed on to me a tight hug trying reassure my  hope all lost.


It still  hope we last ones of the family left to  stay alive.

I saw daddy being dragged out.  Put up much of fight to protect mom, he was knocked unconscious... "DADDY! DON'T TAKE MY DADDY!!"

I screamed through the window but they couldn't hear me.


Then they dragged a screaming mother out the house.



"Chocola take care of your sister!! She screamed trying to break free.


" I love you both and so does daddy remember that!"


She screamed before she was thrown in the back of a car.

Who she talking about back there?" The guy in the passenger front seat asked.
"Pssh, I don't know-" The men in the driver seat scoffed. Probably yammering about  her children that is  left we haven't found yet that is hidden."

"You'll never find them! The mother hissed even at the rest of the group gathered up in the back of the van with her. Startled them be self aware her sharp fangs shown out  aggressively struggling tied up very good be restrained.

You'll never get away with this!"


Argh, shut up!" A raising male timberling black boot knocked her  beside the head sending her out cold.



By that time I was screaming and crying into my sisters shirt.

"HOW CAN THEY TAKE MOMMY AND DADDY AWAY FROM US!" I screamed into my sisters shirt.

"I-I-I don't know..." She hugged me again and sighed. "But we have to go"
I'm sorry, we could not help.

"I'm not leaving, what if mommy and daddy come home and we aren't here?!"

I looked up at Chocola with red puffy eyes. They took  my parents away from me and on Mother's Day....I will never forgive them  and for what they did to me.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

I woke up, panting and sweating to see my sister still asleep.


The sun was just beginning to rise and I sat up as I wiped sweat off my forehead.


I watched the sun rise hoping mom and dad were seeing it to.

I felt someone wrap their arms around me and I looked to my side to my sister.

"Very nice morning isn't it" A smiled stretched across her face and I nodded.



I really don't talk at all but when I have to I do.


I got out of our hiding for the day and stretched out as my sister followed in my steps.


"Let's go Vanilla."  She fip toe walked though the alley seeing me in the twilight zone looking up the moving clouds.
Ehehehe, earth to Vanilla,  coming or not?" "Oh-ooh! Sorry!"

I pick up the paste to follow her.



I have been running for six or seven years hiding.


I have met people of all kinds not humans I had enough of in my lifetime.


We had gone around all alleys searching for a new home, the sun was starting to set so we had to hurry up.

"There they are!" I heard voices and my sister looked back at me.

"Run Vanilla!" She screamed and started running, I also ran but since I was slower I lost sight of her.



"CHOCOLA WHERE ARE YOU!" I stopped and looked around. I Started panicking, I lost sight of my sister and I didn't know where she was. She was the only one that knew the in and outs routes to losing tail of the humans they ever chase us fooled.


No no no this can't be happening to me!

"There is one of them!" I heard another voice scream.



"We've got you surrounded there is no point trying to escape!"



A person with a loud sound maker called.


I covered my ears and hissed.


I really didn't know I what to do. I claw a scratch attack with my claws. Prance look around them all got me trapped in circle. Force back several them humans pointing at me with guns the keep there distance when I flinch on close with my sharp fangs.

I continued hissing at them, flattened my ears onto my head and moving my tail side to side.

  I was about to jump on one of the men when I felt a stinging pain on my butt.

I couldn't move my body and soon enough I was on the floor as a man with a cigarette appeared and kneeled down.

"This one will make a really good pet for the boys that are looking to adopt" he blew the smoke of his cigarette in my face making my face cringe and soon enough I blacked out.  Not before I was thrown in the back of a car. I'm going to see mom and dad, but what about Chocola she need see our parents too!!
