The year is 4000, humanity has conquered the stars. Humans have successfully colonized our solar system and beyond. What events ensue? Use your creativity by writing something about the future.
When :Year 4021 AD
Where : Starboard of a Space Ship named Galeleo somewhere in deep space Andromeda galaxy
Who : First Officer Dr Stan and Second Officer Dr Ross
What: The usual monday chat
Dr Stan : " Where is Nitro?"
Dr Ross: "Are you talking about the Robot,Stan"
Dr Stan:"Do we have a Humanoid with the same name"
Dr Ross :"Yes stan, We had a Humanoid with the same name, but it got transferred to another space ship last month"
Dr Stan with a sign : " Time seems to be flying faster than ever"
Dr Ross with a wink: "Or we are just flying faster now"
Dr Stan thought for a while , before he would speak, the screen before him beeped.
Dr Ross:"Dr Stan, there is communication for you"
Dr Stan saw Dr Ross for a moment and then looking at the screen.
In the screen a strange alien that nearly looked like a human appeared.
Strange Alien:" This is Cezrin Space Ship hailing. Is this Universal Riders 1710."
Dr Stan: " Yes, this is Universal Riders 1710. I am first officer Stan, this is second officer Dr Ross. Whom do we owe the pleasure of speaking?"
Strange Alien: "This is Neberashi " pointing to a empty space.
Dr Stan and Ross looking at the empty space confusion not knowing what they are looking.
Dr Ross ventured " Maybe, It is referring itself in third person"
Strange Alien smiled as if saying Gotcha " I am not Neberashi, this is Neberashi. I am Jaunderashi ." Now looking under the table " Neberashi, stopping playing by hiding behind the desk. come out and meet these Entitians.(Entitians are like humans but in more abstract term. Any Alien species with thinking capacity is a Entitian.)
A short alien popped from under the desk.
Before Dr Stan and Ross would respond, a familiar voice sounded behind the aliens.
Nitro:"Hi Stan and Ross. Meet Neberashi and Jaunderashi from Xylon planet. They are just like you ie humans. Neberashi is male and Jaunderashi is female or vive versa. Its very confusing to tell, some Entitians in their planet don't have any gender" Nitro came close to the console and smiled at them. They smiled back
Nitro continued " They saved me, after you left me in that Geno planet"
Dr Stan and Ross looked at the Xylonians Neberashi and Jaunderashi " Thank you for saving our friend Nitro and bring back to us"
Then Dr Stan remembered what Nitro said to him and blurted :"Nitro, we didn't leave you, we will never leave you. Weren't you transferred to a different space ship last month"
Neberashi chipped in " When we found your friend, the planet was in the verge of collapse and your friend was unconscious. After we rescued him, he was confused, said maybe his friends Stan and Ross left him. "
Dr Stan and Ross looked at each other more confused then Realisation struck them.
Dr Stan spoke first " Now we understand what happened." and say Nitro and asked " Where you onboard Universal Riders 1310"
Nitro thought for a moment and said
" Yes , I think so"
Dr Stan was speach less
Dr Ross continued " We are Clones deputed by earth to find a alternative location for human settlements. We are Deputed in Universal Riders space ships numbers from 1 to 1710. Each Space Ship is a pair of officers ocumanied by a humanoid who has to search the galaxy for a better settlements. We found several settlements , still doing so for future human settlements. We sometimes transfer from one space ship to another for some reasons" , continued after thinking for a while
"If Nitro was disembarked in a planet, it must for a safety reasons, especially the safety of Nitro"
Dr Stan asked Dr Ross " Yes, now remember, weren't our Nitro transferred to Universal Riders 1310 last month"
Dr Ross just nodded the head and asked Neberashi " Where did you find our friend"
Neberashi: " Our story similar to yours, we were deputed to find other habitats for settlement. We are doing for a Group of Entitians of different origins. We found your friend in Geno planet from Thedin solar system from Thelouous galaxy in String Hazard group. Ideally we would have avoided that entire galaxy, as Planet Geno is the only safest planet in that entire galaxy. However we intercepted a beacon from that planet. As this planet is in the brink of the galaxy, we choose to do the rescue operation. However we never found any other Space Ship in the near vicinity of the planet or any other life forms or other Entitians. So we took from there.
We later , got the location of your space ship, by the inspecting the SOS becon , we found near Nitro. "
Jaunderashi added " Why does it points to the location of your space ship, instead of the location to Universal Riders 1310"
Dr Stan " The SOS becon is our gift to our friend, in case he got left out or got missing from other space ship, it will help us rescue him. It only activates when there is threat to his life"
Dr Stan asked Nitro " Do you blank out and didn't give any response to stimuli like you sometimes do. This would made them think you were dead, so put you in your planet. We nearly did the same some years back, but we checked the internals and found them to be working ie I mean still being alive."
Nitro " Its possible, but when I woke up I remember only last time I played poker with you and Ross. Then I remember going to sleep with my teddy bear and waking up in that planet. Someone woke me up and healed me with the medical kit Dr Ross gave me. Later I found , it was Neberashi and Jaunderashi , who also took in their space ship and rescued me"
Dr Stan and Ross woke to a horrible truth, they have developed attachment for Nitro. They transferred to another space ship and removed his memory, but gave him a present that made him remember them. This must have made the Universal Riders 1310 leave Nitro in that planet. But were confused on what happened in that space ship
Dr Stan " Thank you for rescuing my friend. Why wouldn't you rescue and heal him."
Neberashi : " There is a Galantian Legend that these planets make Entitians crazy if you stayed for a longer period. So we first woke Nitro to be sure. He was unaffected. When inspected, we saw the medical kit. We healed him using it. But our clan was not willing to take him. So we took him in our space ship. why did part of your clan leave him, yet left him with the medical kit, SOS becon and a teddy bear ?"
Dr Stan said " Nitro memory must have spooked them, so they left him on that planet . Since they didn't want him to die, they left the essentials for survival. Even we can't remember anything before Nitro . But only remember, we erase our memories periodically. Nitro is always in our memory, we are in Nitro's memory"
Dr Ross added " We erase our memories, as excess memories are a burden. we store the irrelevant memories in a archiveand then remove them."
Neberashi asked " Why didn't you remove the memory about Nitro. If you didn't find it irrelevant, then why allow him get transferred to another space ship. If he was transferred, why Nitro don't remember anything about it but remember about you."
Jaunderashi asked ” Does every other clone is called Stan, Ross and Nitro respectively or they have different names. "
Dr Stan thought for a while before saying " I suppose so, it must be the case, we have once met another Stan, Ross and Nitro. However that had different last names"
Jaunderashi persistent "What is thier last name?"
Dr stan replied with a smile "All thier last name is twopointO , all of our last names are OnePointO. i think we might belong to the same family, so have similar last names"
Neberashi and Jaunderashi wondeed if it was normal to name a Entitians with such names or they are some of robots to have such names.
Dr Stan replied as if reading the mind " We are humans , including Nitro who is mostly human. We are Another Entitian in different parts of the Galaxy, planet or worlds. we are named like robots, as it is difficult to organize the Inter stellar operation with different names. similar names with slight distinction helps in faster communication and better productivity and Efficiency.
Neberashi and Jaunderashi after handing over Nitro to Dr Stan and Dr Ross, parted ways hoping one day they would meet again.
They met again after their exploratory travel and settled as a family in a different Planet and Galaxy from where they have stated the Journey.
They and other Entitians lived happily ever after.
