A Web Of Love
I was just the friendly neighborhood Spiderman.I was chilling at home because I got sent home early for beating up a bully.I was doing my homework when I felt the ground start rumbling and people started screaming. I looked out my window and saw people running and screaming. I also caught a glimpse of Green Goblin on his hoverboard. He was carrying this machine that was creating huge cracks in the road. It was his earthquake machine. I immediately changed into my suit and jumped out my window to go and help.
After swinging around getting people to safety,I went looking for Green Goblin. But that's when I heard a girl screaming for help. I followed the sound of her voice until I found her. It was Jenna. She was hanging from a street light that was over a huge crack in the road. I shot my webs at her, pulled her and swung her to safety,while trying to evade Green Goblin as well.As we swung around,I I looked at the city. it was total chaos. If I didn't stop Green Goblin, we'd lose it all. We swung to the top of an apartment building before I took off my mask.
"Matthew? You're Spiderman?" she asked shocked."Yeah but that's not important right now." I said quickly. "Listen,there might not be much time left so I have to tell you something right now." "What?" "I don't like Emma. Everyone says that because she kissed me,but shes not the girl I'm in love with." I said. "And how does this concern me?" Jenna asked. "Because I love-" I started saying but stopped when I saw Green Goblin. He was rushing towards us and shot I rocket at us,so I instinctively pushed Jenna out of the way, causing the rocket to hit me instead. I got up and groaned in pain. I pulled Jenna to me with my webs and swung her home as quick as possible. then I went back to fight Green Goblin.
I was getting weaker and he used it to his advantage. He punched me and threw me of another building and into the street. When he came closer to me,he shot another rocket at me but this time I shot my webs at it and swung it back at him, making it hit his hoverboard. It exploded,and the blast knocked him into a car, knocking him out for a while. The police and SWAT team used that as an opportunity to arrest him.
As soon as he was in the back of the van,I swung to Jenna's house. I landed on her balcony and saw her sitting on her bed,knees up to her chin with a worried look on her face. I knocked on her window. She saw me and immediately came over to let me in. I took off my mask as she helped me walk to her bed. "Hey are you-" she started saying but couldn't finish because I kissed her. "I didn't finish saying what I wanted to say." I said after I broke the kiss. "I dont love Emma. I love you,Jenna." We looked into each other's eyes before I kissed her again. We both lay down on her bed together and she fell asleep in my arms. When I woke up, she was still sleeping,so I kissed her on her forehead before sneaking out the window and swinging home.
