In one of the most famous Korean police novels (Crime files), the novel that talks about a detective who is searching for a group of dangerous criminals, who commit heinous crimes, and on page thirty-five in the fourth chapter, a character named (The Cuckoo Man) is mentioned, as he was the most gang member  Crazy and eccentric, he is going to kill the sister of a detective in chapter sixty-five and escape.

On 12 October 2014, three 18-year-old girls were assaulted in Myeongdong district during the night.
