One of the most interesting things about the serpent mound is that it is the largest one found in the world to date. Many theories including being the serpent eating an apple from the Garden of Eden! However, the only thing I will agree with is that it is an extremely spiritual site! Spiritually sensitive people who visit here hear things! Like me who went back to the visitors center was asked if I heard things! The park ranger said few people have! I told him when I was by the head and egg-shaped thing I heard drumming I thought at first it was piped in mood music! Then because I heard the drumming, I thought the movie egg-shaped thing did not represent the universe, the apple in the garden of eden, or anything else except for the serpent representing the spiritual force! The egg-shaped thing represents the drum! and together the spiritual force entering the drum! This would account for all the sensitive people who hear the drumming! if you are ever in Ohio this is the place to see! Many locations are Spiritual and believed to be made long before Native Americans came to America! We have many mounds some in the shape of animals and pyramids! Although many of the sites are in line with the stars, and summer and winter solstice's as is the serpent mound! I believe this site is much more Spiritual than Astronomical!
