Part 10
Chapter 31
[Same Location]

They all boarded the ship. Mei and Shiro entered the cabin and the rest stayed outside.
'Yes, hello My Lord. Forgive me for not answering earlier, we were having a meeting. Yes..... yes. France is our next destination. I'll be seeing you there My Lord. Oh? I'll put her on now. He wants to speak to you.'
Merylin handed the satellite phone to Candice.
'Konbanwa Koibito,' Chizuro said with a chuckle over the phone.
'Bold of you to still call me that after all you had done.' Candice answered coldly.
'Now now. No need to be cold. Now then, is the stage set?'
'Yes. I trust you'll hold up your end of the bargain?'
'Yeah. But not over the phone, they could be listening to this call. How about we meet? Berlin. Can you make it?'
'Tell me.....why should I go out of hiding just to meet with you?'
'Because the information I have for you, involves your survival and that of Shiro Kamui.' His tone went low and the words came out with an ominous feel.
'Sure. Four days.'
'Great!' He sounded like an excited child, 'I'll send you the coordinates of the meeting place. I can't wait.' He dropped the call.
'What were you discussing?' Merylin asked.
'Nothing for you to concern yourself about.' Candice said sternly.
'Damn you. Need I remind you that I am Lord Chizuro's right hand commander. He sent me here to help you, your disrespect I will not tolerate.'
Candice snapped, grabbed Merylin by her neck and raised her from the ground, leaving her dangling from her hand and gasping for air. A 5ft 2inches short woman with the strength of a monster was lifting a 5ft 9inches average sized girl up like a baby.
'And need I remind you that I am his one and only. You are my servant now. Chizuro could just as easily get rid of you and your brother, I am doing you a favour by allowing you to be with me. YOUR DISRESPECT I SHALL NOT TOLERATE! UNDERSTOOD?!'
'Ye.....ssss.' Merylin answered in a whisper as she gasped for air, her consciousness fading.
'I can't hear you. Speak up.'
'Ye....sss.'
'Good.' She let go of Merylin. She hit the floor hard, coughing and trying to catch her breath.
'Next time, watch your tone when speaking to me.'
'Im sorry. Athena. It won't happen again.' She bowed in respect as she addressed her by her codename. Athena, the Goddess of War. From Greek mythology. She was given that nickname after she took over the reigns of the Academy of the Killing Arts and turned it into the Academy of Assassins. The destruction she had personally caused in battle against the criminal underworld and the political world of power had gained her that title.
'Lady Kamui. May I ask a question?'
'By all means.'
'What will you do when Shiro finds out that you tricked him, that you used him and created his monstrous side?' Candice went silent for a moment, then answered.
'Nothing. There is nothing I can do except watch what he will do.' Merylin went quite trying to process such a response.
'No one will tell him. But if it does happen, let's just say—' Candice was interrupted by Kazuto as he walked towards them.
'Yo, how long will it take to reach the shore?' He asked.
'That question should be for the person steering this ship.' Merylin said pointing at the captain's quarters.
'Lets go ask him.' Candice said moving toward the captain's quarters.

Chapter 32
[Kuro]

Ascending to the highest floor of the Whatchtower. The informations division located on the further outskirts of the island, isolated from the rest of the AOA's facility. It is the heart of the AOA, far different from the assassins division. This division is comprised of the world's most skilled and tenacious hackers. Able to crack the most secure data files, passwords and encrypted emails. Not even the NSA can hide from them. It is where The Watcher is located.
He walked up the 2000 step staircase instead of taking the elevator, he finds it to be  exercise. Began sprinting up the stairs, his speed exceeded that of a top class athletic runner. He burst through the the door to the roof and stopped short on the edge of the building.
'3.2 seconds. That's my best yet. I gotta thank that bitch for these abilities properly. The only way to do that is to kill her, but first, where could she be?' His personal cell rang.
'Sir, the connection is ready.' A woman said over the phone.
'Excellent work.' He pulled out his satellite phone and dialled a number. Waited for a response.
'Yeah?' A familiar voice responded.
'Hello brother. I was just calling to check up on you.'
'Hmm. Please don't lie to me. You'll only make me mad.' Shiro said calmly over the phone.
'Oh? Come on, am I not supposed to check up on my fugitive twin brother? And why would you think I'm lying?'
'The mercenaries you hired. I know your style, you've always been a frontal assault type of person.'
'That's more you than me. But that's not why I'm calling. I'm actually calling to check on your progress of escape from the country. Is it going well?'
'In a sense, yeah. We're headed for France. I hope we'll be okay.'
'That's good. I can't stay for long on this line. I'll contact you soon.' He dropped the call. Took a deep breath and admired the view of the jungle on the island, it was most beautiful today because of the moon and stars and the ocean added a final touch with its reflection of the moon.
'Let the cards fall.' He said as he admired more of the view—his favourite spot on the island.
