Undercover Love
I was a spy for The Other Side. KC worked for the Organisation. She was undercover and had to infiltrate our base on an island near Hawaii to find out about our next war weapon we were building. It was a biological warfare missile. After we would launch it,it would explode over Washington DC, releasing a deadly virus that would infect everyone.
Our leader,Ajax,called everyone to a meeting to introduce our newest member, Jessica,who turned out to be KC. After the meeting,I pulled her to one side and asked what she was doing here. "I'm undercover. I need info on the biological weapon you guys are building." she replied. "Good luck finding it,it's locked up safely in a place you can't go." I said. "You could tell me where it is,you know." "If they find out what your true intentions are, they'll take you out,and if they find out I knew, they'll take me out for not taking you out. " I said. Just then,Ajax walked in.
"What's this I hear about taking someone out?" he asked. I had to think fast or he would find out what KC was really doing here. "Umm,I'm taking KC out on a date, because we like each other." I said quickly and put my arm around her neck. We smiled awkwardly at each other and I kissed KC's forehead. Ajax looked at us suspiciously then smiled. "Alright,have fun you two." he said and walked off. KC pushed me away and wiped her forehead. "Don't ever do that again." she said,still wiping he forehead. "It was either that or he finds out what your true intentions are." I told her and watched her pull herself together, straightening her uniform and making her hair neat. "Why'd you even protect me?" she asked. "I don't want them to take you out." I replied. "Why,you like me or something?" she asked and laughed. "No,why would I like someone as annoying as you?" I quickly denied it. "You remember that we dated? And that you liked me? Maybe you even loved me." she said matter-of-factly. "So? That doesn't mean that I like you now. I despise you. Your pretty face,your annoying voice,I despise everything about you." I said irritated. "Aww,you think I'm pretty. You must really like me." she said and laughed as she walked off.
