ALJ: Intending To Listen Better
I've learned MOST by what I admit. Today, I came to the realization (in conversation) that I do not always focus in conversation. It is my habit to be so eager to respond, that I often have a separate but internal dialogue occuring while having no clue to the purpose or meaning of the information given to me.

As I am aware of this( now) it is my intention to work to become conscious with my focus. Meaning that since I am aware of this now, I am willing to listen with the intent of receiving (understanding) the message so that I may actively respond with a greater sense of clarity and focus.

And so that the person that I am in conversation with can appreciate how mindful and focused I am with them that even if there is a disagreement on point of views, there is still an acknowledgement and an appreciation for listening to them share a view point or an experience for the basis of establishing trust.
