It wasn't for a day or two that life mucked. It was forever. Closed off in a room, house full of people, called family and loved ones. The very ones who hurt and stabbed over and over till my heart went numb and cold.
All the sounds cease to exist for a long long time. Eyes, see but didn't process the information for a long while.
