Story Idea: A young woman with her travel companion go to visit her sister in her stately mansion, only to discover that it has been abandoned for years.

Characters:
1. Flora Beckwith - The main protagonist. She's the elder sister of Evie Darlington. She sends and receives letters from her sister. She later becomes worried about her sister when she does not hear from her again. Flora always thought that the man her sister married was strange.

2. Anna Darlington - Flora's younger sister. She got married and packed to a stately mansion by the sea. She used to send frequent letters to Flora, but with time, she gradually stopped.

3. Claude Everly - Evie's best friend, and Flora's travel companion. He accompanies Flora as they go to seek Evie in her matrimonial home.

4. Ives Darlington - Evie's new husband. He whisks Evie to a stately mansion by the sea after their marriage. He always seemed an odd character to Flora.

5. Chester - Flora's beloved cat and companion. Flora received the cat as a gift from her now deceased husband. Chester is a black cat with bright green eyes, and Flora adores him. Chester and Claude don't get along so well.
