The baby would not stop crying, nothing they tried could hush the baby boy. The she-wolf stepped closer, sniffing at the distraught little child. He looked to be not more than a few moons old. He still smelled like the blood of his mother, but where she might be was beyond the wolf. Her mate began to nudge the boy with his muzzle.

"Oen please don't upset him anymore. He has been crying for hours. I'm surprised the humans haven't come for him sooner with all the noise he is making."
