The mirror loomed over them as they traversed the hallways of the abandoned mansion. It was rumoured that no one came out alive from it....

"Shouldn't we be going back?" Amelia's voice echoed around the empty hallway.

"We cannot. The gypsy said mother's spirit lies here. We have to find it." replied Oscar, who adjusted his pince-nez in the dark.

"I'm afraid. What if the rumours are true? What if we could never leave this mansion?" Olivia muttered, her body taut with fear.

"I'm sure there's nothing to worry about, Olivia. They're just rumours." said Oscar, who lightly touched the long mirror.
