from idiot box to smart tv...
Television is one of the popular appliance in every households. It entertains and gives information to the audiences.
During the 1900s analog television was called an "idiot box". Why? Because, people on that time have no way of choosing or changing in anyway the available shows and its content. The only choice you have is to turn off your television if what it have is quite annoying. Analog tv is receiving channels from local network by having an outdoor antennas, or additional channels through cable networks, regarding to the physical aspects of the television, it has a large and heavy body, not so clear views and more often have this blinks because of reception.
On the other hand, digital televison that was introduced during 2000s has a vast speed of transformation, during this years and television on that time is no longer called "idiot box". Lots of changes ang improvement came on and yet still to come.
Digital tv is now lightweight that it can hang to the walls, the picture is so crisp, the best features of it, it is like a computer having a built in capability of reading other devices not only by putting cables but by using a wireless connections such as bluetooth, and wi-fi. By having this features television is now become popular again, because it doesn't required other devices to operate such as videos, games and music.. It is clear that digital tv is more powerful than the anolog tv. One thing is great in analog tv, is it's lifespan is morethan 20 -30 years, compare to digital tv that is so sensitive to heat that chips inside will easily melt when the rooms heat temperature is hot such as 25-28 degrees Celsius.
To some up television has a long way to run it will become more user friendly and childfriendly and it might become more powerful than it is today...
