The Surgical Strike
At the night of 20 APRIL, 2014 four terrorist cross the LOC ( Line of control ) and reached Uri. Uri is a place in Kashmir, in Uri, there is a army camp and the army tent was there and they were staying there. At the night, these four terrorist entered the army campaign and started to fire, they put tent into fire and they killed many jawans. When Army Major got this news, he arrived there with some soldiers, but the terrorist were ran from there.
In that attack, 19 soldiers died . Now the Indian Army want to take a revenge from the terrorist, and afterwards they got news that terrorist came from Pakistan, 35 km away from LOC, there is a place were all the terrorist were there. India planned to do the Surgical Strike in terrorist area, and then 20 Special Paratrooper were selected for this attack. They divide the team in two groups. India had targeted to attack two area of terrorist which were 100 km away from each other.
On 22 April 11 a.m, the Paratrooper left for the strike, the two different team use different routes, they went from the forest area and afterwards they cross LOC and enter Pakistan. They were moving very slowly and carefully, they don'want that terrorist should not get the information of the strike. On 22 April 3 a.m they reached terrorist region, but they do not attack, there plan was to first keep watch on them 24 hours, what they do, what they had etc. After all this they returned to there Homebase and planned.
On 23 April, the Paratroopers left from there home base, they cross the LOC and came to the terrorist region. AT 9 p.m they reached but they don't fire, they waited for the morning. At 1 p.m the terrorist started to fire, the Paratroopers felt that they had seen us, but Paratroopers don't fire, the terrorist were firing not towards them but to save them where they feel insecure, the Paratroopers came backwards and waited for the morning.
At 5 a.m they again came to the region, they all took their position according to there plan. At 6 a.m the Paratroopers were ready to fire the head give the signal and they started to fire, they also attacked from rocket launcher, which destroy there weapon house, and slowly the terrorist region was destroyed and then the Paratroopers left, fast and carefully they cross the LOC and entered India. The strike was over and the Paratroopers were successful in their mission.
