The door opens and to my surprise
it's a man sitting in a chair
next to a cats bed
crying about his ice stand
So I walk in give his wife flowers
And say what ice stand
well I was a street vendor
making the block cool but
now sense this covid it's got
some people crazy an they
not buy in plus robbing
So I got up one morning
And my garage was open
And my stand was gone.
But where did it go I don't
know. So the guy was sad
And after the meal we gave
the guy a check to buy a new ice
stand and a lock to lock his
place now. Will this help I think
So. We can always start again
But if we don't have a chance
then how will the dream come alive.
You can always make your mind your
thoughts as cool as ice. To sell
the lemon aid and pore it on the ice
To get smiles and frozen promenade
in the hand of all who need to cool
off. So I get back in my car this visit
was positive and right on the mark.
