Idunna Humphrey was born in Kentucky on March 5 1913 she is the wife of Creed Humphrey one day when they were teenagers Creed saw her he stalked her everyday where ever she went he went and wherever she stayed he stayed one day they started talking to each other he felt in love he gave her a kiss the next thing they both got married they moved to McCormick South Carolina and had six children Sugar Lee, Julius, Ver’Tale, Carter, Bertha Mae, and Regina. Idunna had Sugar Lee at a very young age she was 13 years old Carter and Bertha Mae are twins they both were born at the same month, year and time December 2 1938 Idunna’s mother helped her raise her children and Creed’s parents his mom had died and his father wasn’t in his life anymore. Idunna died back in November 6 1949 she had liver failure Creed left Ver’Tale and Regina over their grandmother’s house Sugar Lee got married and moved out Julius lived in an small house of his own, Carter and Bertha Mae stayed with their aunt. They all had Idunna’s funeral on a Saturday morning she was buried at her family’s church Mount Zion Baptism Church Idunna’s brothers were standing by her casket they were both looking sad. Creed left and married another woman named Merdieth Harriet had made the decision on where the children should stay she agreed to let some live with her and the other ones could stay with their aunt but Sugar Lee and Julius were grown ups they had already found them somewhere to stay Sugar Lee got married to a pastor named Samuel and Julius had stayed in his small home and Idunna’s brothers were not too happy with their mother’s decision the brother’s started backing away they didn’t even help take care of their nieces and nephews the brothers didn’t won’t to have anything to do with the family anymore after Idunna had died.
