After being in a loving marriage for years being treated the way the Lord intended love is supposed to be between a woman and a man it's hard to except anything less. Kit's husband spoiled her not with material good he loved her like she loved him.
Their marriage was true based love, trust and honesty if you can't understand that, I'm sorry.
There were no lies in their home because between the two of them they learned what love was together
teaching each other their needs.
No one should except a loveless relationship man or woman and love is what made their relationship work.
They vowed to keep their relationship between the two of them no outsiders no matter what. Kit took their vows serious not letting anyone in for more than 20 years. Yes there were other good looking men that looked better than her husband but Kit had love and not everyone gets to be loved not the love that they had and that love is what kept Kit true.
Their were those talks about them but her husband taught her that there will be those talks to ignore those kind of things.
There's nothing to loving someone and you know what you're getting at the beginning of all relationships a person is what they are

Some will say that their honest knowing blame well that they're not, and some just do what they want to do with no consideration "no where.
Kit's life is simple because that's the way she wants it
there are no complications she knows what is and what isn't. She have had hard times and knows there are more hard times to come but that's life.
Yeah, she could have did that keep up with the Joneses BS I mean all that fake stuff for others to notice her but it is so played out until it ain't funny and Kit likes comfort.
But this Jack, he could be a complication for her but only if she let him. She's older now and know that if he's not ideal to what she want to leave it at the start
no excuses. Kit only knows one way to be in a relationship and that is for love and if she can't see love in a relationship then she's out.
At work her day started out nicely the smell in the air on the way was that summertime smell a hint of flowers blooming not yet hot. But inside Senior Good smelled like a restaurant that always made the entire block hungry.
The people were nice , friendly and caring easy to be around a sense love for each other. It was a setting of quite outside the building there were nice rocking chairs on the front and back so after eating some of the seniors could enjoy before going home.
Kit put away her things sat down to get started when he knocked...
"come in she said without looking up,
"Good morning Kathy he said.
"Good morning! Kit",
huh" squinting his eyes looking at her puzzled.
"Everybody calls me Kit.
"I think I'll stick with Kathy it's your real name he said.
The coffee in his hand smelled good no danish this time just coffee.
"Why do you have such a non friendly attitude he asked.
"It's not a non friendly attitude it's that I am supposed be professional here at work she said.
"Professional yes, but not snobby he said he put the coffee on her desk and walked out.
Now See Kit caught that complication that he presented right off the bat.
Just because she's not skinning and grinning all up in his face with his flirtings she's snobby. This isn't him being mad or anything it's his test to see if she'll fall for his ways.
Kit had learned the tests over the years in some of her dating it's child play really some won't just come out and ask for what they want they still use what they thought worked when we were kids.
Some still use that dumb stuff and think that we'll still fall for it like a child and when you walk away from it you're given a name, but just to make you do what they want or don't want.
Her just being nice at work is one thing but to her all that flirting should not be done at work she should be professional. Your job is your profession not some bar to hook up with what looks good.
Her day went on with him not flirting with her no kinda way what so ever.
About 12 she went in the kitchen to heat up her lunch,
excuse me may I use the microwave she asked him?
Sure he said, here I'll warm it for you this mic, is different from those we have at home.
Kathy you don't have to bring your lunch he said, you can eat here I always cook enough for everybody some even carry food home with them.
"I'm just trying to find my way here it's been a long time since I had to work and I don't want to get a bad rep she said.
Kit got back to her office the things that she noticed about him were professional in her mind could she have made a mistake about him?
She could have, but she didn't he was flirting there is an attraction between them. Kit stayed in her office til he was finished cleaning knowing he would check
everybody else had gone.
He didn't knock this time he stood in the doorway
his shadow was big like the kind you see in the movies.
The building was kinda dark except her office
"you're still here he asked you usually leave before everyone else.
"I'm on my way out she said
"Look I think we got off on the wrong foot I came at you wrong.
"Well not really you were just being nice I got the wrong impression because of the things that I have experienced since my husband died.
I know how things work these days for many love is played out they just want that feeling from sex.
And for some they're married trying to get everything they can get before they get too old and die which one are you?
He didn't say anything she look at him and said,
yeah, that's what thought....
she picked up her keys and walked out.
