I was going through my emails when one caught my eye. The subject line read: "URGENT: Legal Help Needed." I opened it, curiously.

Dear Lawyer,

My name is Jo Mend, the daughter of a construction worker. I am in desperate need of legal representation. I have been wrongfully accused of murder. I swear I did not commit this crime. Initially, I was sued for fraud, but instead of resolving that issue, I am now being accused of murdering the plaintiff.
Please, I beg you to help me clear my name.

I hesitated. The email sounded suspicious, but something about it intrigued me, so I decided to meet her.

In a Dimly Lit Café

I walked into the café and saw a woman in her 50s sitting alone, nervously tapping her fingers on the table. I approached her.

"Jo Mend?" I asked.

"Yes, thank you for coming," she replied, her voice shaky.

"Tell me everything," I said, sitting down.

"My father was a construction worker. He passed away last year, leaving me to handle his debts. I got involved in a business deal that went wrong, and I was sued for fraud.
