The streetlights were dim as the mist enclosed it in its mysterious grip. She peered out of her window into the darkness, was there someone out there or was it her imagination? She thought a while then made a decision to ignore it and took a sip from water bottle. She sat and began to write her the drafts for her novel. Suddenly she heard the sound of breaking glass. it was so loud that she almost felt down from her chair. She turned around and found her windows glass broken . Someone had thrown stone wrapped in paper ,she took the paper and opened it . To her surprise she found the the page of draft . I bold letters
"I WILL KILL YOU" was written on it. Suddenly light went off , paper fell down form her hand. Again stone came with great force breaking other glasses of window. she ran towards the corner of her room this time she was shivering badly. She noticed that someone with knife in his hand entered in room through window .
His shoes were wet. She closed her eyes and tightened her fist . Only thing she could do was hope everything will be fine. She was taken aback when she heard the voice chanting "I WILL KILL YOU" .
He turned around and laughed aloud as he had spotted her. He started to run toward her with knife .In a fraction of time he was very close to her , without wasting time he pierced knife in her heart . A sensation of teriible pain ran through her body .She screamed aloud with pain . There was blood in her hands. She cried aloud . For the last time she opened her eyes to see the world .
but wait ..
To her surprise she found herself on her bed soaked in sweat . she stood up and punched on wall to see if it was real . She took a deep breath and felt relaxed , still she was feeling pain in her heart . but she was happy that it was a nightmare. In due time her family members her arrived hearing her scream . they were surprised too. she explained them the whole thing . and told not to worry .
but deep in her heart she had a doubt and was frightened.
She doubted if the boy in her dream was her ex lover who had committed sucide recently because she broke up with him .
Still confused she closed her eye .
wait what was this she heard the sound again this time he was saying .
It was your luck that you are alive but I will kill you, NEXT TIME.
