An unfortunate moment 1
#TheWritingProject
'Bolu, Bolu!' I could hear my mum calling out for me While i was in my room still grumbling over the day's incidence.

Earlier that day, I was asked by my mum to get her a powder soap.

On my way, I saw one of my friends playing guitar and freestyling with other niggas {as I like to call them} their song was catchy and I couldn't help but to join them. We sang and sang for what seems like eternity.

Me on the other hand had already forgotten what I was instructed to purchase.

Many an hour was wasted singing, my mum on the other hand worried about my whereabout.

We were all taking turns in singing and after sometime, it got to my turn.

No sooner had I started singing than I heard 'twai'. An awful, thunderous slap decended on me, I could hear different pitches of two banged snares although, they were playing in my head. I felt dizzy for a while and regained my stability.

I was very annoyed over the incidence obviously not knowing who slapped me. I turned back only to be faced with my mum's frustrated anger.

I could see her eyes shining and showing its best of anger.

I swallowed nothing in particular heavily, already In awareness of the impending war awaiting me at home!

life at home at that moment was like world war 2!.

my ear still ringing like a thousand bell was smacked against my ear.

I was In my room and was hearing my mum still fussing over my action. I felt sorry. my heart pounding against my chest as if very soon, it will jump out of it's cage.

my life throughout that day was never the same again. I was still fussing over the day's occurrence!.

Now at my room, my mum calling out for me and I on the other hand , was proving stubborn. I heard her voice but honestly, I thought my stubbornness would avenge my plight for me

Still weeping, I saw the door swung open. my mum with rage of fury over her face sprinted towards me in an attacking way. I dodged her fist rolled to Rocky ball but, alas, I was too late. The fist caught up with me. My head tilted against my neck as if to fly off and jilt off it!.

I landed furiously on the hard tiled floor with a seemingly blasting sound. The floor was hard against me.

No sooner had I fell to the floor than my mum, on top of me, gave me the ferocious beating of my life.

I wondered in lamenting pondering. I knew I was at fault but I never expected that kind of beating.

Moment passed. I was left alone to myself. my cheek in transcending agony, my eyes, filled to the brim with ocean of water.

I looked through the mirror at myself. I told my self, 'see what you've caused for your self'
