"That was amazing!" Serena said, hugging her best friend. "I'm going to be wet for hours!"
"I can't believe we just did that!" Erin said. "I'm not even on the pill!"
"Maybe my daddy made you pregnant!" Serena said.
"I don't care," Erin said. "It was worth it!"
It was Saturday night, and Greg's wife was having a girls night out. He had hoped that his stepdaughter,
Serena, would be home, but she had already made plans to go to a party that night. Greg decided to
take advantage of the situation by inviting a few of his friends over for a poker night. Frank was the first
to arrive, followed by Brett and Shane. They each grabbed a beer and sat down in the family room to
watch the hockey game before starting to play cards. By the time the first poker hand was actually dealt,
it was almost eleven o'clock and everyone but Greg was drunk. He had laid off the booze intentionally,
knowing that Serena might call him for a ride home. Staying sober had also given him an edge in the

the morning when the phone rang.
"Hello?" Greg said into the phone.
"Hi Daddy!" Serena said on the other end. "Can you come pick me up?"
"Of course," he said. "Where are you?"
"I'm at Erin's house." Erin was Serena's best friend, the girl who had joined Serena and Greg in a

"Okay," he replied. "I'll be there in about ten minutes." He hung up the phone and told the guys that he
would be back shortly, then got in the car and drove to pick up Serena. The moment he pulled up in
