It's a story of a Pandit who is of the opinion that he knows everything and he use to mockat others and he is a sadist also. Once while going in the road, people aware of him took no notice of him for fear that he will mock at him.

Since nobody is available to mock at he saw on barber sitting under a tree doing his work. He wanted to make him cry. So he asked him how much he is charging for cutting and for shaving like that?. He said for cutting one Annans and for shaving quarter Annans. it's was in olden days where all in Annans and paises only. Then he said that you do head shaving jovially to irritate him. But he took notice of that and started his shaving work.

During that time the Pandit wanted to tease him and he asked your doing only cutting and shaving you should be called as, Barber only. But you people are calling you as, " Navithan ?." ,நாவிதன் ?.What is the connection between you to Naku (i.e Naku means in Tamil, in English it's Tongue.).
He said people coming to me for cutting and shaving only. But with our tongue we use to tell (or) some good things to them and they will be happy. That's why we're called as, " Navithan ". Pandit got irritated by his answer. Still he wants to tease him, he asked, this is called as, Scissors, but why it's called as, " Kathrikol ?. கத்தரிக்கோல்?. கத்தரி இங்கிருக்கிறது. கோல் எங்கே?. " Ksthari is here. Where is the Kol?. This this he said that Swami is talking jovially. He smiled and said by attending his work.What Pandit expected is that he will get irritated so that he can enjoy. But it's other way round. I don't what to do to irritate him. He asked him it seems that you are the who is cutting always. You're the Vettipayal in Tamil means useless fellow. The barer slightly got irritated and he wanted to some thing to teach him a lesson. While the Pandit is thinking about that, that time, the barber asked," Swami, you want the Mustags? " He said, " YES ". So immediately HE SHAVED and gave the Mustags to him. If Swami wants I should give it to him. The Pandit shocked to see his mustangs on his hand. He don't know what to say. This time he asked, Swamy you want this eyebrows?. He thought if I tell I want he will shave that and gives it to me. With that thought he said, I don't want. The barber shaved and said, since you don't want I have saved it. I will act as per your wish only. Pandit may not know how to react. He has given one Annans to him and with a worry he came out. He has grown his mustangs and eyebrows with a undue care. Now he looks very awkward.

Your knowledge should not have headweight to degrade other people. Every body is unique in there own way. All many not know everything. You should respect other person also for their wisdom.
So don't have any head weight as if you know everything and mock at others.
