WAR OF DEAD CHAPTER 2: UNEXPECTED WILL PAGE 8: THE FIGHT OF EXISTENCE
The soldiers, still determined to capture her, lunged forward, only to be confronted by the unexpected arrival of Waiden James. With fierce determination, Waiden fought off the troops, protecting Amena in her time of need, "sister!! Wait!" Amena ignored his call and ran towards the direction where John could be found. Waiden James, loyal to his brother, followed closely behind, leaving Lordea defenceless and filled only with surrendered soldiers and officials who had yielded to Meracoras' invading army.

Meanwhile, Hercedera continued his relentless assault on John, striking him repeatedly in the stomach, back, and other vulnerable areas. John's vision blurred, and he could only hear the sounds around him.

In that moment, Amena's voice broke through the chaos, shouting, "John!!!!" Despite his weakened state, John managed to convey a message to Amena with his half-closed eyes, urging her to run away. Blood gushed from his mouth as he whispered, "... Amena...!" Hercedera wasted no time and commanded his forces to immediately apprehend Amena.

Drying her tears and gathering every ounce of strength, Amena fled backward into the dense jungle. The hunters, with their menacing cries resembling dacoits, pursued her relentlessly, their goal to capture the Queen of Lordea. They were mounted on horses, while Amena, on foot, struggled to outpace them and save herself and her unborn child. The cavalry army eventually closed in on her, encircling her with malicious laughter. They rejoiced, believing they had captured the beautiful queen of Lordea.

Suddenly, one of the cavalrymen dared to approach Amena, attempting to touch her. In a display of her hidden abilities, Amena swiftly used her flying cloth to ensnare the man's neck, giving it a powerful pull. The man was sent soaring into the air, his body twisting 360 degrees before colliding forcefully with a nearby tree. Amena, fuelled by desperation and a fierce determination to protect herself and her unborn child, seized the fallen cavalryman's sword.
