I and my girlfriend were dining at a lavish place with soothing ambience.

A guy in his 40's stood up and shouted " Happiest moment of my life " .Of course he was drunk as it is too weird to even murmur aloud at that place. The place is famous for relaxing dim light dinners.

In no time , the so called " drunk" guy reached out to my girlfriend . We sensed some danger coming and decided to ignore.

Drunk guy : How are you guys doing ?

We ignored him with raging brows.

The man however didn't stop and looked out for some opportunity to talk to my girl.

I with my manly attitude felt my self respect drift out of place. I stood up and yelled at that maniac. He felt dejected and went back.

The entire place was shrilled in silence.

He stood up with tears in his eyes and addressed the crowd as :

" This is the happiest day of my life ". My friend sitting here shared the biggest secret of his life.

His daughter turned 21 today and she was adopted by him exactly 20 years ago. All these years, he cared and nurtured her and didn't let anyone know, not even her. A real man , a real gentleman he is ! "

After the scene, we called waiter for the check.

He said " Your dinner has been paid by the man you yelled at" . He left a note for you.

Note read as "I am sorry, I was just looking for someone to share my happiness with.
