She stroked Rose's hair lovingly.Umma was mesmerized by Rose.She looked so pure and innocent that Umma wanted to comfort the hesitant girl.

"Don't mind their nosy questions.They are very curious about the very first woman Armaan has brought home!!If you feel uncomfortable in any way, let me know.After all you were in an accident.Are you hurt anywhere?
Where's Shiny? She's a doctor working in the Ernakulam medical College.She's here for a few days.She can help you out."
Rose trembled.She couldn't allow her walls to be broken.Yet she was melting when she looked into Umma'eyes full of concern.
"I'm fine.Not hurt anywhere as I was in the backseat.I had my seatbelt on too as I was sleeping when the accident took place,"she looked sheepishly at Umma," I didn't even know how it happened which is why I'm really grateful to Armaan for saving me when others abandoned me, inspite of being strangers.I really don't want to trouble you any further."
Umma nodded and indicated with her eyes to her grandchildren for refreshments.The children hurried into the kitchen where the maids were and brought out juice and homemade snacks.
