I'm writing the whole story, this is just a little part of my story.


It was June. I remember that day vividly my family had to drive me to a major city because there was no airport in the small town I lived, I still remember the song playing on the radio it was "lady antebellum - need you now", every time I hear this song I go back to that day like a time machine. There was me the first member of my family going abroad taking a14 hours flight alone. I just got my Brazilian ass inside the airplane and it was an old ass plane. Just for you to know the plane had those small TVs on the top and they just passed two movies and shut it off all TVs, thank you American Airlines. Just imagine a kid in a long-ass flight who couldn't sleep because I had been struggling with insomnia since 14. The 14 hours felt like 2 days. I remember looking through the window and seeing some small islands with heavy illuminations it was the most beautiful thing I saw in a long time and all of sudden I felt a rush of happiness in my mind, at least that was my perspective from the airplane I think that was the Caribbean.
