I was up early and ready trying to adjust my plain tank top and my gold chain. It was very sunny. I had on blue average short jeans and a paint splatter design trainers.

I had to check on Shantel because as crazy as she is, she might even be at home now who knows.
She probably have left without my notice.

Come in she responded to the knock on her door.
Shantel was on the bed with her back facing upwards

Good morning, you alright, I greeted

Yeah am good, she responded

I am going to make breakfast.

Cool soo.. i sat on the edge of the bed and said how do you like your breakfast?

My Breakfast? She repeated slowly

Well it's been a very long time since I had breakfast in bed well from my dad and my well some of my ex.

I didn't really know what she meant by what she had just said. I knew her indications but she cant live to that expectation right now.

So what do you mean by that I asked dumbly.

Nothing and all am saying is that it feels good to be loved again you know.

There was something that was probably bothering up her mind and I had no time to talk about it.
Maybe I will sit her and we can have that conversation as I needed to be up on my feet in the next couple of minutes.

To change the subject I asked "So what can I make for you?".

Am actually not hungry. I will help myself If I feel like it. She said in a sleepy voice

Ok am going to see my mum to help her out on couple of things. I said trying to make my way out

As I got there, my mum was at the front of her house throwing rubbish.
She was always a workaholic. It was only 7:30 in the morning.

My mum never plays with her time as to why I came early.
She told me to drop her friends little daughter to the nursey
She dropped her daughter at my mum's yesterday because she was called emergency to go to work early today.
I certainly didn't want to waste my sleep to look after someone's child.

Melody looked at me with an innocent face.
It was actually my first time seeing her.

Melody came closer trying to give me an open arm.

So when is Shantel comming to see us? Mum said trying to switch on the kettle.

I didn't know why she will even ask me
Shantel was not what I was thinking.
I was trying to get ready on how I was going to go to work next week.
I am still really grieving and haven't been myself after the lost of Mr. Clarke.

She is alright, I replied in an unbothered tone.
The last thing I want to say is the fact that Shantel slept over and is still at my house.
That would have been strange to say.

Yeah, i need to head of mum while trying to head off.

Breakfast would have been good idea but I need to go check on Shantel before my house catch fire, I thought to myself. Shantel has gone crazy after the death of her father.

I need to run some errands, I lied.

Ok Wendy was here yesterday for lunch . She wasn't happy about you.

I just didn't understand what was going on with wendy. I know is going to be the marriage discussion deep down.
I just looked at mum with annoying look on my face.

Are you two not getting married?

I dont know why wendy will come and blah to my family about our marriage when I already told her to give me time.

We will, it's just a matter of time mum.
Mr Clark passed away recently and I need to make sure am able to focus and ready on that preparation as it should be a special day. I pointed out

My mother sat down on her dinning chair holding a cup of tea and said well that's what I also told her but she has been complaining about few things.

You need to come and sit down and lets talk Mike, mum said while taking a sip of tea.

I never thought I signed up for this.
I sigh and wondered what on earth Wendy complained about. Wendy has always been the type of person to want something to happen in her way or the highway.

I Sat down trying to analyse when I will eventually get out of that house.

Are you not spending a lot of time like before? I mean are you two not making out? Mum asked

I was silent for a bit. All I could think was how dare she start talking about personal things with my mum. This question was too deep.
I honestly just wanted to get out. I was angry with wendy and was trying to hold it in.
I cant be having those conversations with my mum. I don't get why she can't consider what am going through. It hasn't even been twelve days since Mr Clark passed away and now this.

You know Wendy is a busy person. She is a nurse and works 40 hours per week.
We dont really see each other like that I lied just to try and cut this whole conversation.

Are you sure Mike? Mum asked looking concerned.

Mum we are fine, I will go around to see her later and we will talk later.

I got up and left straight to the phone shop. I need to get a phone for Shantel.

I couldn't even call her to check if she was burning my house down or even the worst who knows when Wendy will come ringing my bell. She hasn't even met Shantel yet.

Communication have been the hardest since she broke her phone into pieces few days ago. Shantel wouldn't even think to buy a phone. She is not in her senses.


SHANTEL

was 10:00 in the morning when I decided to do some meditation. It was the loneliest I have ever felt. It was time to bring back my fun self. I need to make some time to go visit my friends since I don't have a phone. I had a nice shower and had to put my spare clothes on. It was a short light fitting dress.
It showed my curves very well and I was kind of feeling my self with some sexy poses in the mirror.
My makeup and straight hair was on fleek.
I was doing all sorts of poses.


I went downstairs to have a quick cup of tea.
There was no time to make full breakfast as I needed to hurry and head outside.
Mike was probably not coming anytime sooner. There was no point waiting for him.
Gone were the days we use to share but those days are gone. He has been always busy and not even consider spending time with me. I just need some people vibes.
Mike's house was very spacious and comfy.
I wish I could get to live here to always have someone to talk to. I lost all my DAMN phone contacts. I Would probably get a brick phone instead although I can afford expensive one.
I hardly do contract phones. I just buy it in full. Ask me why and I don't know.
I went back upstairs in the bedroom to make sure I have all my make up and other little stuff before I leave.

There comes Mike comming upstairs.

Yeah! Trying to reach out to my bag.
Your still here? Mike said while entering the door.
This was just a perfect moment for mike and I to have a chat.

Yeah, I actually wanted to see you before I go. We need to talk
