Every single night before I close my eyes and fall asleep.
I lay in my bed silently and allow myself to just imagine.
To imagine falling asleep next to you, but not even that. I imagine being in the same room as you. Just staring at everything that you are and never doubting for a second that you are mine and I am yours. I imagine myself hugging you, tightly and feeling those butterflies swarm in my stomach. I imagine resting my head on your shoulder and just holding you close for a moment. The feeling of being yours is so unremarkably incredible. It makes so me feel so alive knowing that I have found my person who I want to have and to hold. The person I'll be with no matter what happens. I feel secure with you. I trust you and I'm not afraid of being myself around you.
You are worth a lifetime of living in hell to meet. I'd move mountains to see you smile.
