MISSION ACCOMPLISHED (PLAYLET)
HIM: (Starring at her and the sky) Nature is beautiful. (In his mind) Girl! You are beautiful.

SHE: (Smiles innocently) I know right! I find comfort in its beauty.

HIM: And my eyes were delighted too

SHE: (Sighs) Hmm?

HIM: (Trying to be cool) Apologies if that's an inconvenience

SHE: No! It isn't. It's just that my tongue has refused to roll the words

HIM: Ohh! (His eyes brightened up, adjusting his shirt) I'm sure you'd have been used to hearing those words already. By now they'll be clichés to your ears.

SHE: You're absolutely correct! But the mouthpiece is equally a determinant of how it will sound, be it cliché or evergreen

HIM: (He felt that's his cue to shoot his shot) Well, this mouthpiece here won't mind singing the praises of your beauty every morning before the sun kisses the sky

SHE: Even when the sun refuses to kiss the sky? (She asked blushing)

HIM: Then the rain will reign in the cloud and I'll bask in its showers to sing the praises still.

SHE: The reign of rain brings joy to nature as it is. What will your rain of praises bring?

HIM: Smiles; to make your pretty cheeks burn pink; amongst many others...

SHE: Well, I think you will succeed, because a smile just landed on them.

They both stare into each other's face till light fades.
