*BE THE GODLY TYPE OF VIOLENT*
_Matthew 11:12, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.”_
A violent person is aggressive. The type of violence mentioned in the word of God today, is the one towards the things of God. When on is spiritually (the godly kind) violent, he or she will not be sluggish in the things of God or be spiritually wanting (lacking).
In order to be violent in the things of God, we have to be genuinely born again. That is done by believing in your heart that you are a sinner and without Jesus you can’t make it. Then you pray and invite Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior. That is not the end. It is rather the beginning. Never think after this, you can go back into your former life of sin. Rather, we after salvation must be violent in the spirit so that we will not be venerable unto the enemy the devil to steal, kill and destroy us.
In order to be violent, we must always read the word of God, meditate upon it at all times and pray for grace to obey. We mustn’t just pray for the grace to obey and end it there. We have to act in faith and obey the word of God. We must then pray without ceasing. When we pray, the devil becomes powerless because God deploys His angels to guard us and bring answers to our prayers.
When a born again believer is not violent, he or she will fall back into sin. Dear sister, dear brother, the Bible makes it clear that the wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23. Sin is disobedience unto God. Jesus said if we love Him we will obey His commands. John 14:15. The danger of being lukewarm is spelt out in Revelations 3:16. God will vomit such people out of His mouth.
*BE VOILENT DEAR INORDER TO TAKE THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN BY FORCE.*
