I linger not knowing how to move on
You no longer eye me as a living organism
I'm to you but, a hollow breathing mechanism

Your footsteps near me only in times of distress
After, I inhale your problems you disappear with no regrets
One fine day, I played the 'not your doormat' game
You wickedly smirked, saying you won't last, you're so lame

I must admit, you do emerge victorious everytime
My broken circumstance, entertains you, it's no longer a crime
I was birthed I believe to be tied by destiny with the likes of your kind
If fate and blessings may change and mercy me, a nanosecond of relief, I would find

I fantasize away my age for your cruel pleasure
While, you prosper in my shadow and plunder my rightful treasure
I have tried countless times to escape and prove my victory
My Creator, seems to have covered his ears to my anguished plea!
