Cara and Her Past: Sequel (Ending)

The next morning was beautiful for the reunited lovers, as they faced each other with smiles on their faces and as they hugged each other with a happy heart.

“So, you still love me?” Robert asked Cara while cupping her face.

Cara immediately hides her face in the pillow.

“Baby, say it,” Robert demanded.

“Yes, I still love you,” Cara answered truthfully.

“Baby, can I ask something?” Robert asked Cara out of nowhere.

“Yeah, what is it?” Cara answered Robert.

“Do you forgive me for what happened a few years ago?” Robert asked Cara with his heart beating so fast.

“Uhm, it's been a long process; at first, I didn't believe that you could do it. I cursed you, and I also thought that I couldn't forgive you, but my love for you prevailed, so yeah, I forgive you, and thank you for not giving up on me. On us,” Cara answered truthfully.

“Hmm, thank you so much, baby,” Robert exhaled his remaining breath and then he kissed the forehead of Cara.

“Baby, will you marry me again?” Robert asked Cara while playing with her hair.

Cara just laughed.

“Baby, I'm serious,” Robert took a little bit forward to hold the hands of Cara, “It's okay if you're not ready,” Robert added.

“I'm still not, can you wait?” Cara answered Robert while making eye contact.

“Of course, My Cara, and I will always love you," Robert answered Cara then he kissed the forehead of Cara.

Every day, there was a gift coming from Robert chocolates, flowers, and gadgets from the kids.

“So, he was really serious, huh?” Cara murmured to herself.

The days turned months, and slowly Robert was taking his back off, until that one phone call that would perfectly change everything.

“Hello, Robert can you go in here? I have something to tell you!” Cara asked Robert through a phone call.

“Of course, baby,” Robert on the other line was nervous.

*IN THE MEETING PLACE*

“Baby, it's a YES! I will marry you again,” Cara said to Robert and Robert just passed out.

“Baby, wake up,” Cara said while tapping the left side of the cheek of Robert.

“Yes, baby?” Robert, annoyed Cara again, “Can you say it again?” Robert added.

“What are you talking about?” Cara didn't know what Robert was talking about.

“The endearment, please baby?” Robert asked Cara.

“Okay fine, baby,” Cara said then she kissed Robert on the lips.

The two got married again at Saint Paul church in California with blissful hearts and joyous souls.

“Baby, thank you for the second chance that you gave me and I swore to you, you will not regret it and I will not do anything to break your trust again,” Robert said to Cara full of love and passion in his eyes.

“Promise?” Cara asked Robert with a cold glance.

“I promise, My Cara,” Robert answered Cara with a smile on his face and kissed the forehead of Cara.

Cara and Robert spent their honeymoon in Paris and Italy, making love, making up for their lost time, and touring around the city.

As the weeks passed by, Cara found out again that she was pregnant with their third child after the wedding, and that was the happiest moment of their lives. The two lived happily ever after, with no more lies and secrets.
