My true Inspiration💜
Dear Sivakarthikeyan,
I still remember the day 13 year old me walked into the theatre to see the charming and an aspiring new actor in Ethirneechal after his success of "Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga", and the special place you left in my heart ever since I watched you on the big screen; your character stayed with me not just for the 2.5 hours the movie was playing, but until now. Moreover, You are not just a character, you are a representative of all your fans who wish to achieve something in their lives. There are some characters that are like a reflection to us who appear only to initiate us to confront the things we left untouched before. For me, you were one of them. From a timid yet feisty "Kannan" to a jovial yet tender "Pattai Murugan", from an ambitious "Harish" to a care-free "Bose Pandi", from a chipper "Peter" to a brave hearted "Madhimaran", from a cordial "Rajini Murugan" to a romantic"SK" besides an astonishing "ReMo", from a headstrong "Arivu" to a princely "Seemaraja", from a spiritual "Arumpon" to an ideal "Shakthi"and a whip-smart "Varun"; you've left your mark on the audience with every performance. I really don't know how you get involved so deep in every character you present that no one forgets the act you have done. And thank you for representing them at your best and every role stays within our heart and you've lived our lives. Whenever I watch your films, I feel like I am a "SIVAKARTHIKEYAN" because you make all of it real and connected. I feel related. I feel like I'm one of your abridged versions. I feel like I'm one of you. And with you i try to resonate my own stories too.
Living around parents with dreams for you, you slowly yet steadily learned, to show that it's not about their dreams but yours! From being a teenage sensation among the youths like me, the average grade student, you had come up with an extraordinary dream. You became a Star, so magnificent that the entire world gapes at you in awe today. Your journey in this industry has been as fascinating as your movies. Your art is a rebel, and your ability to make us smile through mere rectangles is a gift not many have. Your talent & dedication continues to inspire me with each passing day. Life is always about what you leave behind, from your hard work, passion and dedication you walked a long way from engineering to Television, to short films to Silver Screen. You sailed your way through life around everything that happened. The world isn't the best place to live in, but you taught us of how to survive and indeed achieve in it. The world says it's easy, right? Of how you became a mega-star over this decade, of how everything was served to you on a silver platter. But it doesn't know of how difficult it is to follow your passion putting everything on the line, of how you started with your auditions for "Kalaka Povathu Yaaru" and hosted several Television shows in Vijay TV and ended up a breakthrough role in Marina movie. You went from being a host in TV shows, to a special guest as one of the most exceptional actor of the generation on the same shows. Your hardwork and your journey, it seemed to us to come from a place we belonged, your achievements seemed to come from where we were beginning.You taught us that even when nobody else believes in you, you have to believe in yourself. You busted every notion people had about you, proved that you were more capable of things than you ever imagined, and with time, you became the best version of yourself. Your growth from being just a shallow, swarthy riser who needed others to make you feel fulfilled to being someone who felt fulfilled within yourself was exemplary.
A mimicry artiste, a television presenter, a playback singer, a lyricist, a film producer, an actor or the artist inside of you who gave a remarkable increasing graph of growth. You have managed these hats so beautifully and you continue to grow and outgrow yourself each time. I saw you struggling at first but then you slowly tried to grasp every criticism others made and turned them into a glorious history. You are one of the complete actor i have seen so far on the screen. But still i saw you working on yourself, making more perfection in your characters without giving up. I saw a courageous man in you. Not only on the screen, even i know little about your real life, still you are a supporting father and a caring husband. Till now, I don't drink or smoke and I don't drink tea or coffee because of you <3. You taught me how an influencer should be; a bright personality with a dash of creativity, and you find only one in a million. You're my only hero and your journey hasn't been as easy as the world makes it out to be, and I find it so motivating to see how you've managed to surpass everything that the world throws at you. Amidst all the trolling you've faced over the years, all the din & allegations that surrounded you, you emerged stronger than ever. You even recklessly stated that you won't act in films which include "Drinking scenes, and stalking scenes". Thank you for inspiring thousands like me by being the real you in this world full of deceit personalities. At just 38, very few actors have filmography as stellar & versatile as yours. You've not built a fan base of millions, you've built a family. A family which swears to be with you through your thick and thin, and a family which feels proud whenever we see you on every award shows, not that you host, on that you recieve awards for "Best entertainer of the year", "Best male debut of Tamil cinema", "Best actor - Tamil", "Best person of the year", "Best favourite actor", "Golden family entertainer of Tamil cinema" and "Kalaimamani". You always followed your heart and that made you this. I still remember those phrase from that AV of Vijay awards 2013 which mentioned you as "அன்று விருதுகளை அறிவிக்க வந்தவர், இன்று அறுவடை செய்ய வருகிறார்". I literally cried and it was Freudentränen :')
You know what? Once you told that you didn't get a ticket for Vijay awards stage. But now we don't get tickets for your FDFS while we're late for booking. All that where you have let your success speak for itself. However, I could not deny the fact of me being your unappointed PR around XD. You're not only a brilliant actor, but also an incredible person. Your heart is so full of love, warmth and kindness, be it towards your loved ones, your friends, your co-workers, and all your fans. Keep shining superstar, your one smile makes us want to power through, makes us want to keep fighting, and makes us feel loved when we couldn't love ourselves.
